Beautiful Antique Chinese Asian Chinoiserie Tea Caddy Box

Description

A beautiful 19th century Chinese exported black lacquered box with hand applied designs. The Chinoiserie style was very popular in Europe and this tea caddy has the added influence of the footed base to merge both Asian and European tastes. Good condition, age-related wear with only small losses. Please review high resolution photos that depict all sides to reference condition. The original dual lead containers are still present with two sets of lids. It’s hard to find a complete tea caddy like this, there are some small tears to lids as seen in photos. Measures 7.75 inches wide, 5 inches high, and 5 inches deep. A great display item for a table.
